Blueberry Bread

1 Pkg Yeast
3 C Bread Flour
1/2 Tsp Salt
2 Tbsp Sugar
4 Tsp Applesauce, Unsweetened -- * see note
16 Oz Frozen Blueberries -- thawed and drained
-- reserve liquid
1/4 C Retained Juice -- at room temperature
1/4 C Water -- approx., 90 deg F
In order listed, add all dry ingredients into pan.
Put berries in with dry ingredients.
For a 1 1/2 lb. loaf, my machine needs 300 cc of liquid at 90 deg. F. I
select thin top crust, then start the machine.

NOTES : NOTE: To lower the fat, I use applesauce in place of the fat and
have had excellent results doing this. This recipe called for 1
TBSP. butter or margarine.

Cranberry-Orange Bread

Add all the ingredients in order.
I select thin crust and start the machine.

recipe calls for 4 tsp butter or margarine.
I do not reconstitute the nonfat milk powder before I put it in
the pan.

Use the nonfat milk as powder - do not reconstitute.

NOTE: I use applesauce to reduce the fat content.
Standard recipe uses 4 tsp butter or margarine.

This bread will not store very long.
Makes an excellent gift for someone.
